So the cover makes this totally look like a dance/pop album, or maybe even a pop-leaning Say-So. Nope. They come out shredding from the beginning. This is straight up heavy metal. I know, I know. That doesn’t connect with the picture at all. But it is metal. You keep thinking that the next song will jump back to dance pop, but they never do. I think the drums are programmed on this release. But the shredder guitars will make up for that if that is something that bothers you. The female lead vocals are of the powerhouse/slightly gruff category, somewhere between Barnabas and Warlock. This tape was quite the pleasant surprise.

  1. If this would have came out about 2 years earlier we would have seen more of them I think. Unfortunately metal was being ignored for grunge and alt rock at the time of this release. Very solid straight forward metal with great vocals and exceptional guitar work!
