I was really expecting heavy metal by the looks of the dude on the cover. Nope. This is all ballads. I guess you could make the case that they are technically glam metal ballads, but still… you can’t call something metal if it is all ballads. Two songs (“Open Your Door (Snowman)” and “Live Can’t Be the Same”) kind of speeds things up to kind of an “Extreme – Hole Hearted” ballad pace, but that is about it. Apparently this will go big on eBay though? Oh – I see – it is Stephen Striker from Stryken:

Heaven’s Metal magazine advertised this back in the day as being Carry a Nation. The name changed for commercial purposes to Stephen. Solo project of Stephen Striker of Stryken. Stephen plays all instruments and of course sings. His brother Dale plays guitar on a few songs.

Wow. Didn’t see that coming. Apparently there is also a one track cassette from 1989 called A Dark Day in Texas.
