I am not sure if the name of the band is P.U.N.K.S. for Jesus, or if there is no band name and this is just a collection of people playing various songs for Radical Times. I call it “Radical Times” because there was a Biker Praise album on side 2, and it helps to organize if it is all under the band name “Radical Times.” The problem is, the style is all over the place: punk rock, electronic music, sitar based music, etc. Some of these songs may not sound punk to some, but there are some definite skate punk influenced songs here. For example, the first instrumental track reminds me of the song “Pete’s Theme” by Blind Dog Lost for the Psycho Skates VHS from back in the day. But some of the songs are not punk, but alternative or electronic. Their cover of the Altar Boys is all keyboards and electronic drums, for instance. But there are other punk-ish songs, and some that sound like the Crazed Bunnyz doing punk. No song names, but there is a different version of this demo with a different song order that I borrowed these song namess from.

Missing information: song names, who played on this.

  1. You are right, Matt. The name of the band is Radical Times. This is evidenced by the second tape, Biker Praise. I was confused when I only had the PUNX For Jesus tape, which was labeled differently than this one pictured.
