Not much information on this band, either on the tape or online. It looks like it could be an early 80s band, but there is no date on this, either. The guy on the right looks like he might be in an early metal band, but the sound here is mostly rock. At times, though, it is so 70s sounding that they could make a few changes and some of the songs (like on the kind of funky “Love Is…” or “The King Will Come”) could be on a Soulfood 76 album. The standout tracks are the side 2 prog-rock opener “Prelude/Pilgrim” and closer “Towards the Dawn” with their spacey/progressive keyboards and driving rhythm. Mostly this tape is middle of the road rock. “C. Betts” is the only member listed. Despite the way the cover looks, most of the lead and background vocals are male, with only occasional female backing vocals.
