Ordained Fate was known as a mostly female power thrash metal band with killer riffs and song writing. The only dude in the band was the drummer, and he was married to the lead guitarist at some point after this demo (which was their second demo after changing names from Cyptic Axe). I believe that this entire demo has been released on the re-issue of their self-titled label debut by Girder Records. “Let’s Make a Deal,” “No Death,” and “Wonderful Love” were all re-recorded on their debut album. Here they sound a bit more raw and thrashier. “Midnight Exodus,” “Light Bearer,” “The Hunted,” and “Temptation 2” are left on this tape. They fit in with the other songs, but apparently did not make the cut. “Midnight Exodus” and “Light Bearer” were also on their earlier 1989 demo. Pretty much all of the songs here have been released on a CD somewhere (even the demo versions of later songs), so you can find them if you want to track them down.
