So this appears to be a tape that contains the Metal From Above demo and a couple of bonus tracks. However, when I find any information about Metal From Above online, it still has the same five songs mentioned. Listening to the songs, the first three have a very thin and poor production level, while side two vastly improves that. So they do seem to be from different sessions. All five songs and three bonus live tracks were released on CD and vinyl in 2006. As you can guess from the fact that this was re-issued before the recent online re-issue resurgence, there is some quality power/progressive metal to be found buried in the fuzz of a cassette tape. Also, the first half of “The Ascension” seems to have been taped over on this copy.
