This is the first tape by Canadian alternative rock band Blush. Well, they kind of run a line between grunge and alternative rock on a way that reminds me of Fluffy’s Go, Fluffy, Go! mixed with L.S.U. Cash in Chaos and some No Longer Music thrown in. The 10-minute plus song “Stausche” shows they have an experimental side as well. And yes, this is a long tape with 12 songs (some very long), but I really like this style so I enjoyed it. They followed this up with Time in 1994. I also know that the guitarist was also in Cannon Heath Down and Motorcycle, and their “retired” bass player writes for Down the Line magazine. but I don’t know much about what else happened with this band.
I should mention that Paula Spurr sang for Stratochief and Frank Humphries was also in Canon Heath Down.
