So apparently this is a different Antioch from the other one covered here recently. You can hear that in the sound – this is more of a commercial metal sound, even dipping into traditional / power metal territory quite often. Apparently the bass player is the son of Mick Mars (“Deal” is Mars’ real last name), and this demo was professionally recorded and mixed by Vivian Campbell’s guitar tech Ray Ogawa. It does sound pretty well recorded. Les Paul Deal and Mike Gross are still around online, but I couldn’t find out who the drummer of this band is. It seems they stayed active for at least a couple of years after this demo and then went on to other things.
