Morning After
This is an interesting release that is a bit hard to pin down style-wise. There are samples and programmed drums with some loud guitars over the mix that give it a distinct industrial feel. The song structure feels alternative in nature, but the vocals remind me of early Mike Patton-era Faith No More meets Scaterd Few. The bio that I found online refers to this as more prog rock, and that fits as well. I like it, but it is different and doesn’t fit into any boxes neatly. The first song listed is really a short intro of samples sounds, so only two songs on this demo. James was also previously in a band called DeFault as well.
