Yes – you are reading this correct. This is the earlier demo form of Here We Are, not the version that was released on Graceland Records later the same year. All of the songs on here were re-recorded on the label release, but they were updated and changed some. This tape has a heavy Run-DMC influence. Their label release updates their sound some and adds in some other influences. They basically re-recorded all of these songs, put them in a different order, and added the short song “Listen to This” for their label debut. Then on the second side (of the label release), they had all instrumental tracks that you could rap along to (they called them (DJ Mixes”). This tape has three guys on the front cover, but a 4th guy randomly in the group picture inside the tape. Not sure who he is.
