This tape starts out giving you the impression it will be an acoustic folk album. Then the third song kicks in with some alt rock (although you can tell the drums and bass are programmed). But then its back to acoustic guitar or piano driven music for several songs before “Our World” brings back the alt rock. “Tears” is the other upbeat rock song, so it seems they come out more on the acoustic folk side. As far as I can tell, they didn’t follow this album up until they released their More Than Romance CD in 1993. It doesn’t seem like any songs from this tape were re-recorded for that CD.
