So I’m told this is metal, but the opening keyboards definitely give me a CCM impression. But it seems to be one of those few bands that decided to start with a ballad. The next song “Shout” almost feels like it was heavily influenced by Kiss’ Animalize. But maybe with more keyboards. Other times it sounds like they are influenced by First Strike, so I would say maybe a mixture of 80s Kiss and First Strike. I have other tapes by different bands called Chosen (some that I can’t get to play yet), so it appears this is not the only band with this name. Oh, and it turns out there are no other ballads on this demo. Interesting.
