Vindication is a death metal band with a good grasp of the death metal sound. They could just use some more time or money in the studio to fully realize that sound. The guitar tones here are good, they just need some more beefiness to them to make them more skull crushing. The vocals also aren’t full on death growls, so some fans of the genre might not go for that. But on the other hand, I bet the singer doesn’t blow out his vocal chords as much as some death metal singers do. But, this is a demo, and death metal is hard to do at the demo level, so they do a good job of the style overall.
