For those that don’t know, Reckless Love was one of the bands that Mini Mendez formed after The Holidays. The Holidays were a power pop band that flew a bit under the radar for some people back when they were on Broken Records, but many people were fortunate enough to discover their catchy flavor of alt rock power pop goodness. Mendez is still going to this day as a solo artist. Reckless Love sees Mendez work a bit more swagger into his sound – see songs like “Sweet Ache Love.” In 1994, this band changed drummers and became The Reckless Ways. They eventually released an ep called Desperate Kiss in 1997 – you can find that ep on BandCamp.
