The name “Bone Chillin'” makes it sound like this band would be a late 90s rap/numetal band. However, their actual sound is really more of the grunge/groove metal combo that was popular in the mid 90s. This is another demo that was shared online – and it seems there are a lot of these type of bands popping up all over the place. Did HM Magazine unload a bunch of demos they got from the mid-90s? Because this is another band that sounds like they could have been on one of their 90s samplers. Bone Chillin’ seems to have some LoveWar influence in songs like “Why.” Even if you don’t like this style, they did put together a well-made demo. It just shows how many bands were in this scene and how hard it was to get attention.
