So this tape was kind of a worst nightmare because the first track just wouldn’t play that great. This demo was recorded on one of those really long tapes, and I guess time just made it impossible to play. However, I was able to get a decent transfer once the vocals start on the first song. Its just the opening riffs got really garbled, and there are a some hiccups here and there as the transfer goes. The actual style of this tape is eclectic. The first track is described as hard blues, while the second is described as heavy metal. They both work as metal, though. Then a rhythm and blues song, and finally a Christian rock song. Of course, the first two songs are also “anti-drug,” but I guess if someone likes cocaine, they could also serve as pro-Satan songs (just kidding). This was also taped over a mix tape, as songs by Prince and others are still on the end. The second side appears to be 8 unlisted songs (most instrumental) that sound kind of like someone practicing. Not sure if this is Taylor or not, but it does sound like his voice – and there are multiple people there. First two songs have vocals (I guessed at those songs titles above) with just guitars (electric and bass). The final seven are instrumentals with just one person (assuming it is Taylor) noodling on a guitar (not shred style, though). I also don’t know if Side 1 of this tape was all Taylor or others helping out.

Missing Information: Who played on this? What year was it released?
