This demo I mainly chose because of the Texas connection. It’s really mostly pop rock – and mostly pop ballads at that. In fact, they are all ballads until the last song, which is still mid-paced and not too fast. A bit of guitar comes out here and there in the songs, but nothing that would get rocker’s heads nodding. The liner notes state that they are a contemporary pop band, but they mention they are a bit alternative as well. I don’t really hear that too much myself. My guess is they sound a bit more that way in concert. Anyways, this is a bit outside the styles usually covered in this blog, but still worth noting for its rarity.
