So, again, there are also a few Aslans out there as well. This is not the same one from Canada that changed names to Narnia, nor the one from Kentucky or Florida. This one is from California, and they changed names to Psychotic Waltz in 1987 and released a lot of albums. They are also a progressive metal band, kind of a Fates Warning and Queensryche meets King Diamond sound. In the Christian realm, they remind you some of Sacred Warrior. But I’m not sure they were ever a part of that scene or not. There is an unlisted song on the second side that is an instrumental song. Well, the tape just has it as “?”. Online sources refer to it as “The Fry Tape.” Apparently this entire demo was released by the band (under the new name) as part of their Live and Archives compilation in 1998. Also, some sources list this as a 1986 demo, even though the tape has a 1987 date on it.
