So is it Captain Triton or Captain Tritone? They spell it both ways on this demo. If you are thinking the name of the band is rather spacey, well, you would be right. This is space rock, but that label really doesn’t say a whole lot. Kind of intentionally free form jams with a progressive flair, while not really being progressive rock. Lots of keyboards and fuzzy bass. With some trippy vocals/lyrics. Anyways, I don’t know enough about space rock to be able to tell you which one of the various different-sounding space rock bands this sounds like. But it’s a different break from the norm and I dig it.
