I know there are several Omegas out there – this is the hard rock/heavy metal band from England that released albums like God Loves Rock N’ Roll and Gambler. This is an earlier rehearsal recording, so it is a bit rough in places – but a decent recording for what it is. There are several songs that remind me of early Ozzy Osbourne songs like “Crazy Train.” The guitarist was influenced by Randy Rhodes I would say. In fact, “Minder” borrows several actual parts from “Crazy Train.” This tape also gets a little long, but you do get a rare look into many songs that were probably never officially recorded on releases.
The date on this Omega(UK) – Rehearsal Tape is actually labeled as June 10, 1986 …It is sadly probably close to there last studio rehearsal before unfortunately disbanding for good …What a great band ..!

If you look closely at the label, its 84 (compare with the 6 for June on the spine). Plus, the line-up listed is the 84 line-up before Darren Clay left in 1985.
