This is apparently the first demo recordings by the band, before they even recorded their 1995 self-titled demo or played their first show. They still have a funk/metal sound here, but it feels a bit grungier than later albums. But the grunge is also closer to the classic-rock inspired grunge of Soundgarden. “Empty” and “Touch” would soon be re-recorded for their next demo, with both of those songs and “Black” being re-recorded for their 1997 full-length Voice on Cling Records. The demo is a bit rough, but honestly not bad for a newly-formed band with no live experience as a unit. You can hear for yourself below:
