Turns out that there were a lot of bands called Embodiment (and also Embodyment, which this band might have gone by at one time as well). This one is from Australia and was featured on some Australian Christian Metal compilations from Rowe Records back in the day. The title track of this demo was on Godspeed Compilation in 1994, but the other track was never released. This is fairly traditional death metal mixed in with some thrash elements. Fans of the genre will dig this. In 1995, they released two more tracks on the Hard & Heavy From Down Under compilation: “Loophole” and “Incorporate Body.” Then in 1996 they had two tracks on the Falling On Deaf Ears – Australian Metal Compilation No. 4 compilation as well: “If God Exists” and “Meantime Saviours.” After that they changed their name to Embodiment 12:14 to avoid confusion with other bands, switched to metalcore, and released several albums through the years.
