The cover probably makes this kind of look like Pop/AOR, and it is. The tape was pretty garbled at the beginning of the first song, so I am not sure exactly how it starts, but after that it is CCM that leans somewhat into 80s keyboard/new wave. But, it’s still CCM and not Steve Taylor. It seems like they only put the three vocalists on the front cover, which makes it seem like more of a church project with hired musicians than band, but there is a note on the inside from Treat (one of the drummers) about being their pastor and a member of the band. But it is still a rather large group either way.
