I seem to have been getting a large number of 80s rock/metal/etc. This demo is very 90s – I am blanking on the style, but it was that early to mid 90s hard rock style that had some groove rock and grunge influences, but was a bit more commercial. Now I think we just call it alternative hard rock. But it was the style that metal bands went to if they didn’t want to do grunge or nu metal. Of course, not all bands that did this style used to be metal bands, it was just a small trend of a few that were. Slamcat, Fish Tribe, and other bands come to mind, but maybe if they were a little more alternative and slightly less groove.
