The band name sounds like a blues band, but the music is definitely very influenced by Primus and other bands like that. Which means funky complicated bass lines, quirky vocal styles, and guitar styles all over the place. For those unfamiliar with this type of music, think of bands like Dig Hay Zoose and Hot Pink Turtles, but with a bit more guitar crunch and a more noticeable Primus influence (especially on the vocals). Some might find it a bit too derivative, but they do this sound well. “Jake and the Nader” starts off with a cover of the Knight Rider theme before they break into song (and they return to that theme during the song as well). The songs sounds kind of close to “Jerry was a Race Car Driver,” but is still fun . Don’t know much else – the tape you see above it what there is.
