King J-Mack (KJ-52) – Back From the Grave

King J-Mack (KJ-52)
Back From the Grave
1994 (no label)
Florida, USA

Skills Side:

  1. America
  2. I Don’t

Lesson Side:

  1. Thousand in Flight
  2. Back From the Grave

This demo was spotted in a tape collection shared online. A quick search reveals that this was an early demo by KJ-52. All of these songs were included on 2019’s What Happened Was (The Mixtape). They can also be heard on streaming services like Apple Music and YouTube (see below). Also thanks to Troy Nelson who shared the tape cover scan above originally on FaceBook. If you liked early to mid 90s Christian rap like D-Boy, Dynamic Twins, etc, you will like this. I don’t know everything that happened between this and his 2000 debut album as KJ-52 (7th Avenue), but he was a part of Songs of Intellect that released Insightful Comprehensions in 1997. “I Don’t” was also included on the 1994 Metro One compilation Microphone Theology.
