This is not the same Iron Faith from Kansas City that released a demo in 1996. I don’t know where this band is from, but it has completely different members and sound. This is mid-90s alternative rock sound that was derived slightly from punk rock. Think Plankeye meets Silage or Common Children. Although there is some americana in songs like “Drift Away” which is an Apologetix-style parody of the famous classic rock song. Songs like “My Jesus is All” and “Enemy’s Camp” are also covers as well, but there are several original songs here as well. To my ears, it seems to get a lot more grunge or even Hootie & The Blowfish-esque as the tape goes on.
