Contagious is a traditional / commercial metal band that was signed to Regency Records after this tape. They released Free Indeed in 1988 for Regency and then called it a day. It seems that none of the songs on this tape made it onto their label debut. It looks like this one might have also been distributed by Regency Records after being self-released by the band. The sound here kind of rides the line between an early 80s traditional metal sound and a mid to late 80s commercial metal sound. It is a bit rough in places, but you can see why they got signed quickly after this tape.
