I once read online that “Arbitrage has been around since 1988, starting out as a hard rock band in the vein of George Thoroughgood.” Well, that is this demo, but it doesn’t sound like George Thoroughgood. But it is also not really that industrial (the drums sound like a drum machine and that is about it). The band/project did go more industrial after this demo with 1991’s Music for the Sacrifice. This is also one of the only demos that I have heard such a prominent s-bomb on a Christian album. It seems the rip I have of this had some problems with the transfer, as there is some noticeable line distortion on the songs that is quiet at first, but very noticeable towards the last songs.
