Another demo that I grabbed because the logo looked metal, and sure enough… it was metal. No date on the tape, but I am guessing mid to late 80s by the style and recording / tape quality. Both of which are a little rougher than your average demo, but still listenable. Well, if you like metal that is. This is pretty much straight up traditional metal, maybe leaning a bit commercial metal here and there, which is not everyone’s thing. There are some choices with vocal and guitar tones I would have done differently, but overall a good demo recording. Songs like “Luke Warm” really rip or kick or whatever the cool metalheads were saying at the time. Not sure if this band recorded anything else before or after this, but I am pretty sure it is the same band that two songs included on Side B of the Catalyst demo.
