With a name like Hammy and the Technoids, you kind of expect a quirky new-wave throw back sound. Since it was released in 1994, maybe it would be funk trippy music like Hot Pink Turtle? Nope – it seems that it is mostly experimental-leaning alternative really. It kind of has a one-person band sound to it, but it looks like Hammy got some guests to come in and do guitar work on several songs. As you can tell by the title, Hammy doesn’t care about who he offends with this music. His main lyrical theme seems to be how much he hates “homos” and “queers.” But he also doesn’t miss a chance to judge anyone else he disagrees with as well. Really cheesy lyrics and rhymes, too – which I guess is why he calls himself “Hammy”? There is another demo called Lies (no sure what year it came out), as well as another 2-song demo as well.
