These guys definitely have the mid-80s AOR/hard rock look and sound down – but maybe a few years too late in 1990. While they start off with a Survivor/Journey-ish sound, they do get a bit heavier here and there. Songs like “Take It Away” get kind of close to metal, but the keyboards usually come in and tame that back to Hard Rock. Of course, there are a couple of AOR power ballads as well. They even take a slight bit of AC/DC inspiration on the last track “Trust Your God.”
