Following up their 1989 self-titled demo, Chosen Stranger returns with another excellent slab of commercial metal. This one is a bit heavier than the last, with some traditional / power metal sprinkled here and there. I know the title of the tape makes it sound like a death metal album, but that isn’t the case. There are several rips of this floating around the interwebs, and some of them come with a bonus track called “So Glad.” This song was on the Underground Metal compilation back in 1988. I think this was the end of the line for the band, but if some label wanted to scoop up all of their music and release a compilation – that would be at least 11 songs (including their early singles).
