Sweet Crystal is an interesting bad. They started in the late 70s, but other than a couple of singles it doesn’t seem like they recorded their first music until 1985. But the follow-up to that (and their first full length) wasn’t until 2001. And they have kept going strong, with few line-up changes, to this days. Over 40 years of Christian progressive hard rock/metal. The band obviously does this because they love it, not because there is a quick buck to be made. They have opened for bands from Nazareth to Stryper. Anyways, you can find this early tape remastered on BandCamp. Stylistically, they have been described as everything from prog rock to melodic heavy metal to hard rock. The prog rock seems to be more of an influence, while they tend to rock out between hard rock and metal usually. You can also find this on CD at various places online as well.
