It seems like lately I have been bouncing back and forth between metal and 80s rock/AOR. So, obviously, it’s time for… 80s cheese! FYI, that’s a compliment in my book. No Secret is not new wave or hard rock – just straight ahead keyboard-driven AOR. There are some crunchy-ish guitars on here, but they tend to ride behind the keyboards. Although, I guess as you get deeper into this tape, they do lean slightly new wave and progressive at times – but not too heavily. This is also a very large 6 person band (as you can see above).
