GoGo Street is mostly known for having three songs on the Return of the Beat Menace compilation in 1989. If you weren’t aware, those three songs came from this 13-song full-length demo. This tape was sometimes listed as a Cheep Records releases, but there is no indication of that on this demo. Either it was re-released by Cheep Records, or there is another release by this band on that label, or the sources were wrong. Anyways, the sound here is kind of a sophisticated alternative pop. Sometimes they get a little darker, like with the album highlight of “Uncrossable Miles.” But other than an earlier 7-inch with earlier versions of two songs on this tape, this was about it for their output.
