So, yes this is death metal. To my ears, the vocals seem a bit “higher” than your average death metal vocals (if that is even possible), but they do a good job of nailing all the things fans of death metal like. It seems that the band (or at least some form of this band) have been active on and off since their formation in the early 90s. This would be their third demo (that I know of), after an untitled demo and You Must Die in 1993. This demo was also re-released as Drowning by Cling Recordings in 1996. Then the band stuck with Cling Recordings to release a full length called From the Grave in 1997. “Dwell In,” “One Living God,” and “Diversions” were all re-recorded for that release. Since then, they have been releasing demos and compilations/re-issues occasionally through the years.
