It looks like this was released on tape in 1993, and re-released on CD in 1995. But in 1993, many commercial metal bands were going the pseudo-grunge route. What this band appears to have done is taken early 90s metal like Warrior Soul and Bang Tango and decided to go down that route, as if grunge had never really taken over. There are some influences of the groove metal scene that was also trying to save metal at the time as well. Too bad that bands like this couldn’t wrestle the spotlight away from the grunge wannabes that came along after it hit big and created nu-metal. They had the hook and groove of metal with the urgency and passion of the 90s. But, it didn’t happen that way, and now we have Nickleback.
Scott Hargraves, the singer, passed away about 4 years ago. He also sang in a heavy worship band in Vancouver, BC . I lived in the same drop in community as Scott for a year. Scott had an extremely versatile and great voice and could hit the high notes with the ease of Greg X Volz.
