Been looking for this demo for a while. This is the band that became Godfear by 1994 – even though they didn’t sound a lot like the Pantera-esque metal of Godfear. This is a more classic metal band with singing instead of screaming. There does seem to be a bit of nu metal chugging in some of the riffs, even getting close to some progressive metal influences from Queensryche here and there. I’m not really sure if this would be considered traditional metal or classic metal to be honest – they kind of really embrace both. Three of these tracks used to be on MySpace, so it is good to hear the whole thing now. This is the same line-up that would record Fear God in 1994, but I don’t think any of these songs made it on to future Godfear projects.
