This was labeled as funk metal by the person that shared it, and that is a good description. But this band probably brings in more progressive metal and just flat out quirky stuff than either Red Hot Chili Peppers or Dig Hay Zoose. But that is still the style they are doing here. Along with a lot of other styles thrown in the pot. The metal parts are very metal – probably heavier than RHCP or DHZ usually get as well. Even the occasional grunge-y vocals. But I don’t want to make this sound like a mess – if you like funk metal, they do a good job of pulling all together. The files shared broke Sandpit into three parts, even though the j-card lists it as one song. But its about a 19 minute song that takes up the whole side.
