This demo serves as a follow-up to 1994’s The Death of the Brittle Biscuit. While this is still fully a thrash demo, they seem to be moving away from groove slightly and more in a hardcore direction. The vocals are more shouted in places and a little less gruff (but still slightly gruff). “Ensaio” means “Rehearsal” for those that don’t know Portuguese. It seems like there is a mix of English and Portuguese lyrics. All of these songs were released as bonus tracks at the end of the 2000 CD re-issue of The Death of the Brittle Biscuit. The next album of new music would be 2001’s Beware of the Dog. After 2005’s Cockroach, they would change names to Trombada and go in a more hardcore/alternative direction.
