Going backwards in time, we move on from New Generation #7 to episode #6. This episode starts off with the band that everyone wants re-issued, but the band just won’t let it happen – Tempest. The thrash tempest, not the glam metal band that got signed to Pure Metal. This episode is important because it is probably the only place you can currently find some songs from early Christian punk bands Association of the Cross (AOTC) and The Faith Injectors. There is also a song by someone named Jay Hall that has appeared on other radio shows, but I don’t know anything else about him. Also, the Moral Majority song on here is a bit of a mystery – it’s not on any of their recordings, and I can’t find any information about where it came from. Anyways, as with the other episodes, you can listen to the archives of the show or read the reviews of many of the tapes covered here.
